That description fits Matthews perfectly. If he was ever a registered Repub, it was in order to deceive viewers. Matthews started his career as Mass Speaker of House Tip O'Neill's aide, then was frequent guest on Crossfire fervently espousing liberal positions. Evidently it was necessary for him to dampen his partisan identification in order to become a talk show host. Since Iowa Matthews has been wearing a large red L on his forehead.

Are you bull shitting again or is that your opinion after you have done your research. I said that he continues to declare to his TV audiences that he is a registered Republican and that his parents were registered Republicans. Go find out if this is true before you shoot your mouth off.
