Having been on the anti war side back then, i have great remorse over what i may have said back then BUT that war is over and their is a fight for our lives going on and vietnam is a distraction that does no one any good.

If you want to go to confession go see a priest.

If you are tired of the Vietnam discussion tell Kerry to quit making speeches about Vietnam.
And then tell him to open his records to the public.

If kerry got phony medals, how many other vets have them as well? One follows the other. Who the hell cares

If Kerry had run on his Senate record and his platform, UW might still care but I wouldn't. But Kerry ran on his 4 months in Vietnam, in fact he made it the very centerpiece of his campaign, knowing he had at the very least, told a bunch of tall tales about it, not to mention his VVAW activities when he got back. As Mark Steyn quipped, he spent the 70s as Jane Fonda and now he wants to run as John Wayne.

That speaks to his character and political judgement in the here-and-now. And it doesn't say anything good.

Who the hell cares.

Obviously the whole country does, Mike. It is the number one issue.
