FUHRER RISES AS PRO-KERRY EUROPEAN LEADERS FINALLY REVEALED
03/17/04 BERLIN, Germany

The furor over John Kerry's claim that certain European leaders strongly support his candidacy was ratcheted up a notch today when a former German dictator goose stepped into the American presidential race. (RealStory @ reuters.com)

The reason for Kerry's reticence to divulge the identities of those across the pond who are rooting for him to defeat President Bush became apparent when none other than Adolph Hitler made an unexpected appearance at a Kerry rally in Berlin. (RealStory @ apnews.com)

"I'fe been liffing quietly in Brasil in a state of suspended animation," the Fuhrer revealed to a stunned world as he sported a Kerry for President button. "Dat suicide ploy in '45 wass brilliant, nein?" (RealStory @ blackraiser.com)

Mr. Hitler then held up a copy of "Peace for Our Time," the infamous statement made by British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain in 1938 suggesting that the British people could forget the German threat and "go home and get a nice quiet sleep." (RealStory @ byu.edu)

"Dah, sleep like sheep going to da slaughter," Hitler scoffed. "Ve rolled over dat Chamberlain like Cherman Panzers crushing a meadow full uf pansies. Dat iss, until de nasty Americans butted in.

"Unt now, de Americans vill pay...MIT DERE LIFES!!" the Fuhrer chortled maniacally while saluting a photo of Osama bin Laden.

German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder, attending peace talks in Paris, quickly came to the defense of Chamberlain, claiming that the Nazi blitzkrieg of Europe could have been averted if the Allies had just "tried harder to appease them."

"And the same thing is true today," insisted French President Jacques Chirac. "We can't defeat terrorism with brute force, like Bush believes.

"What the world needs now is amour. Sweet amour."
