<font color=blue>Does that mean that the people of NYC ignore the NYT?</font> I'm not a New Yorker, so couldn't say for sure, but I would posit that the NYC liberal elite is significantly outnumbered by working class folk in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, etc., most of whom probably wouldn't use the NYTimes to wrap yesterday's fish. Note that the Times has a large national circulation. I believe they strive to reach liberals in all nooks and crannies of the nation.
