MY COMMENT: Stunning. How can Americans be so misinformed?

Dukakis and Mondale...The Democrats seem to have not learned from previous campaigns. I guess they've never heard of Leo Durocher? Actually I'm beginning to entertain the theory that the American electorate may have reached the limit of their ability to accept negative political slurs. After watching the Clintons get pummeled daily for eight years and GW get a three year free ride, now that the BS is beginning to fly again the American voter may be waking up to the belief that heavily negative political rhetoric is just that...a negative. GW's campaign people have struck out so far and I'm starting to think that bashing your opponent may have lost it's effectiveness. At least at this point in time. No matter how the GOP would like to spin it, the first four years of GW have been markedly negative in tone. People get tired of constant bitching, whether it comes from their spouse or their political leaders.
