Good for you Rambi! That is my project for the day--Chris Mathews won't ever see my note, but I want it to be counted in the "I used to think better of you" column....hopefully your note will be a shinning example for me ... right now after re-reading Michelle's column, it is hard to think in just simple words, ignoring the ad hominems, ridicule, sarcasm, and condescension.

And then I found myself writing HIM saying how about asking the hard questions of both sides, and cutting out the ad hominems, which are the mark of an ignorant, weak mind anyway. Along with ridicule, sarcasm, and condescension.

All sides are horrible- and they have two horrible candidates- and they jolly well deserve to be stuck with them. The rest of us (the sideless) do not deserve to be stuck with them though.

and they said terrible things about Michelle Malkin.

After I watched my horror movie, which was called "They Are Among Us," I think, and while not a great movie, served its purpose, I left the TV on and went to sleep. I wanted to watch the softball game but didn't know at which of the wee small hours it would appear so I left the TV on figuring my subconscious would wake me up when it came on. That worked fairly well. I only missed the top of the first inning.

Anyway, sometime during the night I awakened briefly to the replay of Matthews, who was arguing with some woman who I now assume to be Michelle Malkin. I have to admit that the word, idiot, occurred to me during the minute or so that I was awake for it. I caught the part where he was challenging her on whether Kerry intentionally wounded himself and, while aghast at his incessant pounding, I was even more aghast that any guest who is appearing on such a show wouldn't be prepared enough or bright enough to handle the distinction between "self-inflicted wound" and an intentional "self-inflicted wound." (I was feeling momentarily smart because I had yesterday read the criteria for the Purple Heart.")

The softball game was great. I just love that team. Krystl Bustos for President!
