In Bush's America, speaking against the administration IS speaking against America, the flag, God, and the Constitution.

Maybe the vets will realize that, while Bush cowered in some 'undisclosed location', Kerry was trying to get his fellow vets home in one piece, from a war we could not win. Having served bravely with them, he saw what many other vets saw: that LBJ and Nixon lied, and our troops died.

McCain harbored a deep resentment towards Kerry and others like him until he came to realize that Kerry was fighting to get McCain and the others home.
