Insightful analysis. I'd expect more announcements of significant changes from the Bush administration, such as removal of troops from europe, and implementations of reform directives. The more people think that things are in flux, the less likely they will be to want to rock the boat. While Kerry is swatting swiftvets, grandmaster Rove will continue to advance his pawns.

If the GOP pulls election this off in the face of 9/11, a botched iraq invasion, and a flailing economy, it will truly be one of the most incredible feats of political engineering in modern history, imho.

Cogent and brilliantly stated analysis, Andrew.

The proof of your arguments is the continued silence of Clinton, Hillary, Kennedy, Gore, Daschle, Wesley Clark, Sharpton, even Edwards.

One has to believe that the Democratic power-brokers are praying for a miracle but writing off Kerry and shifting focus to 2008.

The Clinton's are laughing all the way to the 2008 election. Kerry has brought forth their fondest hopes, maybe they wont have to lift a finger to defeat Kerry, as all are sure they had planned. Didn't want to face a Democratic incumbent in'08

Is it possible the Demohacks at the DNC have raised the payment per word on this thread, and others? Their liberal hacks seem to be in a great quandry, and are messaging at an accelerating rate. Probably want to get paid before the DNC implodes and there is no money left in the till.
