What exactly did the Vietnamese do to us that would have warranted more carnage than we gave them. "What an incredibly ignorant statement!" Hey buddy--we were fighting communism and the vietnamese were in the midst of their civil war/northern invasion much like the US civil war. How would you feel if france had intervened then on the side of the rebels in the name of self determination against a NORTH trying to impose their will on their fellow countrymen.

Michael- actually, the Viets sent the French a letter stating 2 million of theirs dead. They also state how the antis kept the war going to additional years. How many did Kerry and company kill of ours in that time frame. A few like Kerry and Hanoi Jane and many would be alive today. Kerry states he did not look at the body of the child he killed as he did not want it to remain with him (possibly the only think besides trees Kerry killed there) I wonder how he would like to see the mangled and dead bodies he really did create
