" So we must question Kerry's honor, but not Bush's honor? Kerry went to Viet Nam and volunteered for combat duty (according to you guys, his volunteering for combat must have been a plot to rack up combat time so he could run for President in 2004.) Bush avoided Viet Nam altogether by getting daddy to help him jump ahead of several thousand other Americans but Bush's behavior requires no scrutiny? Kerry was wounded in Viet Nam and received three purple hearts for his injuries. Bush supporters are mad as hell that Kerry's wounds were not serious and even fatal. His Silver and Bronze medals for heroism were also plots by Kerry to get himself on a Swiftboat, get himself and his crew shot at, get wounded, etc etc.--all so that he could use these experiences in the 2004 Presidential election. Bush, of course, was not that clever. He simply stayed home in the National Guard an volunteered for Swiftcar, Swiftdrug and Swiftlife duty. Bush does not have to defend his combat record because he has none, he doesn't have to defend his purple hearts because he was never wounded (not even a scratch--so Kerry has him there) Bush doesn't have to defend his Silver star because he was never recommended. Bush doesn't have to defend his Bronze Star because he was never even considered for a medal for his guard duty. If Kerry had the cunning and foresight to do all the things the Swiftboat people and the Bushites accuse him of, then he has to be one of the great geniuses of the world. We should all support this genius! Think about it? Will the clever French have a prayer in negotiations with Kerry? Will Chiinese pull the wool over the eyes of this calculating genius? Will the slick English be able to use their Anglo connection at Aemrica's expense with this clever one?
