jeff birnbaum of the washington post was just on tv, and he said the fec, federal election commission, is the most feckless commission in washington (that comprehends tons of worthless commissions so it must be limp.). he said it is composed of 50% democrats and 50% republicans, and thus is constructed to be deadlocked. just fyi.

If Bush campaign asked for the Moveon.org ads to be suspended, yes, that would be censorship. I surmise that he did not because they would have screamed like stuck pigs.
