Bill, The problem is one of the stability of financial markets. Markets always clear. Oil demand at $45.00 simply is amazing to me. The dollar valuation with our trade deficit frightens me. I simply do not see how this works out.

A US recession would cure the price of oil problem. A US recession would drive the budget deficit into orbit. Me thinks the Renambi has got to go way up. Upward valuation of the US$ against the Euro is not viable. Of course a rise in the Remanbi would make oil cheaper in China and therefore ___________________???????

Perhaps I need more CRK!

Bob

OT/ Gold IS interesting

Argument A: "You can't do anything with it" Only good for jewelry" "The gold standard has been abolished" "Not used in industry"

Argument B: "Then why does it cost $400/ounce?"
