Bush and Rove are not as effective as Hitler and Goebbels, and Kerry is not as dumb as Neville Chamberlain was.
Keep your faith that all of these dirty tricks will come back to haunt the Wingers.

But that's just my opinion and sometimes I'm wrong. :•)

Karl Rove is quite effective at the tactics you describe.

At one point an incredible number of Americans, 66% if I remember the polls correctly, believed Iraq was behind the 9/11 attacks.
