Nobody loathes Bush and his associates more than I do. But I still see no significant policy differences between the Bushies and Kerryites on issues of war and peace. The Kerryites are following the Bushies down. They have gone out of their way again and again to insult the peace movement and affirm their support for the colonial war in Iraq and Ariel Sharon's brand of murderous Zionism. Let us not forget that the Democrats were generally more pro-Israel and anti-Arab than the Republicans before Bush 2. And going further back in history it was the Democrat Lyndon Johnson who launched the disastrous Vietnam War under pretenses every bit as false as the Bushie lies about Iraq.
