That Smear Vet ad with a deliberately doctored version of Kerry's testimony is one of the most shameful political stunts I have seen in my 67 year lifetime.

In a way, this election is an intelligence test for America. If Bush wins, America will be lumped into the same category as the Hitler supporters of the 1930's, easily manipulated by propoganda. If that happens, every election from now on will be run like this one, on the Karl Rove model. The world is watching, and they should. As the world's sole surviving superpower, we are a tremendous potential force for good or evil.
