Yes, but will the American people notice? Many will only remember an impression, and as we know, the most sensational impression is the one that lasts. Rove knows his stuff. Just like he smeared McCain and Cleland with innuendo and lies, he's done to Kerry. It is an effective tactic. The only way to combat it is to relentlessly show the truth, but that takes time and money away from the REAL ISSUES. Rove is smart. Scummy and immoral, but smart.
