Over 960 American military causalties in Iraq to date. Sad way to leave this earth. :-( The death count for the American military might hit 1,000 just in time for the Republican National Convention. I bet you some Republican operatives are sweating balls about that possibility. What a convention killing headline: "U.S. Death Toll in Iraq Hits 1,000" across the major American media.

I'm not hoping this happens. I hope the war ends tomorrow, but I know it will not. It might actually happen that the death toll surpases the 1,000 mark during the RNC.
