As more lies are exposed, people will see it for what it is: a smear campaign based on lies. Bush will either have to distance himself, or risk being drawn into a debate about who did what during Vietnam. Not a battle that Bush will want to fight...

Did you answer my previous question? How do you know that vets were turning down Purple Hearts?

The real truth is now coming out. The Swift Boat guy have distorted the truth. Possibly lied. Because they don't like the fact that Kerry changed his mind on the morality of war.

They tried to smear but they've failed. In the end the voters will look at the larger picture and see Kerry served honorably and left honorably when he realized the war was immoral.

Bush AWOL.

There are still two months left for Kerry to clear up the distortions. More than enough time. Bush is going to loose on this one. Kerry didn't want to have to get to the point of talking about Bush's record but it looks like it's going to be forced on him.
