Personally, I was surprised to lean Bush sat there for seven minutes after being told "We are under attack.". However, in the grand scheme of things I don't read that much into the seven minutes. Nothing he could have done in those seven minutes would have saved one life that tragic day. And I agree that Michael Moore overdramatized it.

However, when Bush supporters defend Bush's seven minutes reading "My Pet Goat", postulating that there was no better way to react, suggesting that his sitting there for seven minutes demonstated leadership... well... I feel obligated to point out that, no, that seven minute period wasn't exactly a shining moment in the Bush presidency and there were better ways he could have reacted.

Silly liberals don't have a monopoly on nit-picking, by the way.
