Do you really think Al Gore would have failed to go after Osama in Afghanistan?

Al Gore has been sounded so unhinged lately that I can only thank heaven he is not President. I have no idea what he would have done.

Do you think Shrub has really done all he could have done here in the U.S. to protect us?

I am sure he hasn't. But I am also sure that he is trying hard, and that he is really in fear of losing a city to Al Qaeda. I have been watching Mideast events for a long time, and I also fear it. But if you think this fear is a gross over-reaction, then I think you have just demonstrated why I don't trust the Democrats with power right now.

And yes, the Democratic Party is different now. If Scoop Jackson were running for office, do you think he'd regard Bush as the enemy, rather than Al Qaeda?
