It's a miracle that anybody still cares what happened in Vietnam. I would have thought that this was dead and gone, and they were fighting a battle so old that nobody even knew what they were all yelling about.

Vietnam was a dead dog. Until Kerry came along and used it as a campaign issue. That brought the dead dog back to life.

Of course the dog might have found new life too, if Dean had won and claimed 4 or 5 secret missions to Cambodia.

Perhaps Dean should have at least mentioned his own CIA secret agent hat. He was kicking Kerry's butt before Rassman came along.
