Oliphant is a long time friend of John Kerry and Oliphant"s is working on the Kerry campaign.

I wonder if that should be mentioned in his column when he writes about Kerry.

O'Neill writes what the others have spoken. too bad Oliphant wouldn't use the allocated print to attack the specific charges of each man who were there vs the person who recaps the data and writes the book.

The book is the swift boat vets memories while assigned with Kerry.

I sure hope they heed Oliphant's advice, though

As happened to O'Neill in 1971, the best counter to him today is the serious press attention that his group fears most

Oliphant on Scarborough Country tonight.

His theory as to why the Swiftvet story did not make the major, mainstream media for quite a time was that the story did not meet the minimal journalistic standards for credibility.

The guy and his views are laughable.

Scarborough, as always, was polite, didn't interrupt (a'la Chris Matthews) and let the guy have his say. IMO, Joe Scarborough is a class act.
