I think the election was so close, really a tie broken in a partisan manner by the Supremes, that any number of single factors would have swung the election for Gore. Lieberman, Nader and the Clinon/Lewinski afterglow, any one of these factors removed would have put Gore in the oval office. If Jeb hadn't been Governor of Florida, Gore would probably be President. I voted for Nader in CA. At the time, I had no idea Bush would be the worst President in my lifetime. Now I know better.
