combs mouth dropped.

She wrote a book that was guaranteed to make everybody hate her. Like declaring you are an Atheist. You can imagine how the book is received here in the islands, with all of our ethnic Japanese. They don't want to talk about the fact that the embassy spy in Honolulu that passed all the Pearl info to the Japanese was an ethic Japanese who was an American Citizen. Or about the Japanese Pilot who crashed landed on a minor Island off Kaui on Dec 7th and recruited a local ethic Japanese couple. The couple then killed a local Hawaiian who took the pilot prisoner. I have an ethnic Japanese son-in-law, real nice guy, whose father was on Maui during the war. You can bet I will never bring it up!

She set out to write a book in favor of profiling, and used this as a justification. Bad move. I didn't use to like her columns. Now that she blogs daily, she has got much better.

It has become "common knowledge" but false knowledge that the Supreme Court rejected internment of all Japanese. In fact, they held that it was OK to intern Japanese who were born in Japan, but that Americans of Japanese ancestry could not be interned without some evidence supporting internment.

I strongly believe that in the event of continued Islamic terrorism in the US, it will be inevitable to set up internment camps in the US. I won't say in advance whether I would or would not support this, because I think it would depend on the facts.

If there was a lot of evidence of coordination between sleeper cells, say multiple attacks at the same time, I'd probably be for it.

I think the majority of Americans would be far more eager than I would be to set this up. I know plenty of Americans who wanted to evict Muslims in 2001. You can call them bad names all you want, they're used to it.

That's why I think it's funny when the Left calls the Right bad names like "Fascist" over tiny things, it's sticks and stones, what are they going to say if anything really bad happens?
