Kumar, the point is that Presidents run on issues that they can't change as Presidents, only the Congress can change.

If Kerry was really interested in health care reform, why did he not propose any legislation why he was Senator?

It's true that Republicans control Congress these days, but why tell the American people "help is on the way" when all you are going to do is say (after election) "hey I am just a Democrat President and Congress is majority Republican"?

Anyway Kerry was in Congress for decades, why did he not sponsor health care reform when the Democrats controlled Congress?

You're right on the years, kumar. And I didn't see Kerry even try to push through any health care insurance reform bill through Congress..... Remember, if the number is correct, only 1 million more without health care than when Clinton took office, and considering the situations I mentioned, I think it is pretty remarkable.

Today, there are 43 million people without health care.

That's 11 year. and only 1 million people more....

That's pretty remarkable if these numbers are true....with the greatest recession since the Great Depression, which GWB inherited....

AND the 1,000,000 immigration goal of Clinton-Gore in each 1996, AND 2000....

AND who knows how many illegal immigrants who have arrived here since 1993 when Clinton took over, and then GWB's term.......

estimates show there are between 8 and 12 MILLION illegal immigrants in the US right now........

So all in all, if there is only one million more without health care in the last eleven years....it's progress considering how many companies have folded, and left people to their own devices.
