Anybody other than Nadine, CB, and myself post at the John Kerry For President thread? Absolutely hilarous. No discussion allowed, cheerleading only. I was banned after only four posts, all of which were civil. In all fairness, the header descirbes it as a cheerleading board: Message 20436197 Not a good way to discuss, but c'est la vie, I suppose.

Most people won't read the book, and a lot of the argument is devolving into "there was no enemy fire", "there was too enemy fire!" which is unresolvable. Much of the argument about medals is unintelligible by non-vets since the Swiftees aren't saying that Kerry wasn't there or didn't fight; they're saying that he wrote up the reports to glorify himself and make it sound like he devised the tactics and fought single-handled. What will sink into to ordinary people is just how very many of Kerry's "Band of Brothers" don't like him.
