I just heard a study that said the amount of violence and sex in PG, PG-13, and R-rated movies has skyrocketed over the past 10 years.

You may be suffering from selective memory.

I remember seeing movies 30 years ago such as: The Cheerleaders
cduniverse.com

and The Wild Angels
amazon.com

The typical fare of today like The Princess Diaries
imdb.com

or Scream
imdb.com

pale in comparison. Perhaps you have lead a sheltered life. Perhaps the study suffers from "Data Mining" where arbitrary statistics are computed, and only the ones which support a preconcieved viewpoint are published.

Soros, don't confuse failure to subscribe to absolutism with "anything goes".

By the way, what are Clinton morals ?

How do they compare with bush morals, where you lie and send people to die, skip service because of who your daddy is, and spend the first half of your life riddled with slacking, drug and alcohol abuse, etc. ? And now you remove environmental controls and consumer protections that make life better for the average American while you shovel all benefits to the corporate elite ?

Seems Clinton was being fairly productive at the same stage of his early life, loose zippers notwithstanding. His eight years in office were far more balanced, moderate, and good for more Americans than bush's four years of neoconmen.

Big Bad John
From Unkknown

BIG JOHN (KERRY)
Every mornin' on the Hill you could see him arrive
Standing six-foot-four, weighing one-twenty-five
Kinda' scrawny at the shoulders and lacking a spine
And when he spoke at all, it was mainly to whine.
(Big John, Big John) Big Bad John.

Nobody seems to know what's in John's soul
His 'beliefs' are based on the latest poll
Though he'll say what it takes to get your votes
It's the leftist agenda that he really promotes
Big John.

Some one said he came from Boston town
Where he joined the Navy and gained renown
'Earning' three purple hearts and one bronze star
The home folks said, "This boy will go far"
(Big John, Big John) Big Bad John (Big John)

Then came a day back in '71
When he renounced all the medals that he had won
Then turned against his country and his Navy friends
And sold them out for his own selfish ends
(Big John)

He appeared before Congress and on left-wing talk shows
Giving aid and comfort to America's foes
It was clear to see whose side he was on
Some say he helped cause the fall of Saigon
Big John (Big John, Big John) Big Bad John (Big John).

He claims to be for the working poor
Yet he owns 5 mansions from shore to shore
He never had to work a day in his life
'Cause he learned it helps to have a wealthy wife!
Big John

Now he wants to be our next President
and Commander-in-chief of those he resents
The American soldiers who fight and die
To give him the freedom to tell us his lies
(Big John, Big John) Big Bad John (Big John)

Thousands have sacrificed their young lives
To help ensure that our nation survives
A vote for Kerry is a slap in the face
To all the brave soldiers that he's disgraced
(Big John, Big John) Big Bad John (Big John)

The earth must have stopped and started rotating backwards. The sun will set in the east tonight.

I agree with you for once!

I know, that means you have to reconsider every word of that post. :-)

We are getting close to having an adult generation raised on Clinton morals,
You're late. We're there.

SOROS,
Sorry you wish the world would be more like Andy Griffith. I can see now why you are so bitter and unhappy about America right now. But I must tell you, you are desiring something that will cause you great suffering, as the US will never be the little Christian town of Mayberry... It will always be a melting pot of cultures and religious beliefs.

Let it go SOROS, modern women have no desire to go back to the submissive roles of the 50's either, it will never happen.
Letting go of unattainable desires can be very uplifting,
you may be a happier man if you can. Or, maybe you like
being bitter and unhappy <g>?

I have no problem with you voting your morals, it's a free
country. But, to me, this country was founded on principles,
not morals, and I am voting to up hold those principles myself.

Hey man, if you do not wish to have sex with other men, and if you do not wish to have an abortion if you get pregnant from that activity, you have my utmost support.

The only thing is, neither you nor anyone else has any right whatever to impose those views on the personal decisions and freedoms of others. That includes the right to freely and openly discuss such issues in society as a whole, including schools.

Your views remain,

REPUGNANT TO ME.
