I don't really know the absolute truth about Kerry's service.

I do think that the people who served with him
(and by that I mean the whole group, not just those on his little
boat at any given moment)have the right to
express their opinions of Kerry, whether pro or con.

I don't believe that Kerry's military service,
regardless of the veracity of charges against him, or
the truth of his claims, qualifies him to be POTUS,
or should have been relied upon by him and his party
to establish his purported credentials.

I do believe that Kerry is the worst kind of
opportunist. The manner in which he spun and
glorified his military service is illustrative. So too
is the way he turned on his "band of brothers" when it
was politically expedient for him to do so. (If you've read
his entire 1971 testimony before the Senate, you'll find
at least one Senator who realized that Kerry was seeking
a political career and who commented that he would welcome
Kerry to be part of that body. That tells you something,
doesn't it?)

I also believe that Kerry had a lackluster career in
the Senate precisely because he was biding his time
all these years for his presidential run. Never wanted
to be too controversial, unless he could get favorable
political mileage.

I also believe that Kerry has no real beliefs except
that he's an avowed internationalist. If you
read anything about his father and his upbringing, you'd
realize that a President Kerry would routinely place
the interests of the US on the backburner in favor
of advancing his internationalist stance. That, imo,
is one of the scariest things about him.

New contest Ann.

Given the way that Kerry and Edwards use their hands when around each other, and,

Given Edwards' latest campaign effort to prove that Kerry is a mucho macho man when compared with Bush, and,

Given that Edwards has a slight resemblance to McGreevy, and since we are in need of some new diversion on this thread given the unexplained absence of AS,

So, maybe we can get a few laughs out of a contest to provide a new word to describe the dynamic duo trying to capture the White House.

For a starter, I will suggest:

AMBIDEXTROUSMETROSEXUAL

and will await other entries.
