It does a lot more harm to veterans to fake the Gulf of Tonkin attack and create a war, like Bush in Iraq, under false pretenses. Some 55,000 veterans were killed because of the Gulf of Tonkin lie. John Kerry helped expose that lie and in the process helped save the lives of tens of thousands of additional veterans.
