I think Moore's bs conspiracy theory innuendo is obvious to anyone but the most impartial viewer. That his movie helped the democratic agenda is certain, even though it was almost entirely innuendo and not directly accusatory.

I think the fact that the Dem's rewarded his misguided point of view is both regrettable and, imho, underhanded.

However if there is evidence that the movie was in any way engineered, motivated, or financed, by Bob Shrum or any of his associates, I am not aware of it. If such evidence exists, I would like to know.

incidentally, if it turns out that some the swifties have not been coached and bought off by rove and perry, then i will recant my position.

if they are truly independent and self-motivated, then they are only equally as misguided and blinded by hatred as Moore is.

I did see Micheal Moore at the convention. I didn't see him in Kerry's box or with Kerry or any of Kerry's people, and I watched the whole thing. The press interviewed him, and I believe credentialed him to get in so they could do so. He's not a 527 group, he's an independent film maker who thinks Bush is bad for America, and made a film with independent funding that's returned over $100 million dollars to charity and it's investors so far. He claims he'll be on Kerry day two of the Kerry Presidency.
