That's not to say there was no excitement at all inside the FleetCenter. Rather, it was that this year's Democratic convention hasn't been so much a party to support the Kerry-Edwards ticket as a conclave of political morticians eager to get George W. Bush out of the White House by burying him in a Democratic landslide. From what many delegates tell us, it doesn't matter who their party nominates so long as Bush is defeated. Democratic delegates confide again and again that they are willing to nominate a ham sandwich if it will mean kicking out this president and his vile sidekick Dick Cheney. It is the near-hatred of the president and vice president that has unified these delegates to the Democratic National Nominating Convention despite attempts by the Kerry campaign to make the message positive and not personal.

But when the foul-mouthed and slovenly hate peddler Michael Moore is given VIP treatment, including a seat in the convention's presidential box next to Bible-quoting Jimmy Carter, no veneer of affected civility from the candidate will cover the lust for revenge that is driving the Democrats this year.

Which convention do you think he's talking about there? 1976 or 2004?

Gimme your best guess.

Brought to you by "People Who Live In Glass Houses Shouldn't".

Oh, yes. He (Michael Moore) sat with Jimmy Carter IN THE PRESIDENTIAL BOX AT THE 2004 DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION.

Just wanted to get that straight.

Why? Did you think could just walk into the convention and say "I want to sit in the Presidential Box" and not get thrown out on your can?
