I'd say, screw that, I'M IN CHARGE. Now, let's move and see what's going on.

Maybe the problem is that the President (any one, not just Bush) is getting 'handled' too much; by security, PR, advisors, pollsters. Are we getting to the point where the President is more of a cybernetic function than leader?

No leader of mine would......

You took the action that millions did... Isn't that what you expect of your leader as regards the nation????? He never even asked about his family as you did..

re: Would I have sat there??? No effen way, my friend....I may have not been much help but there is no way I would have sat there frozen for 7 minutes.... Bush's actions, after he was peeled off his seat, was to hide himself for the rest of the day......
