Personally, I think a persons wartime experience suffered many years ago when we were basically all kids is totally irrelevent to his or her qualifications to be President. I understand why Kerry has to stress his minor role there, he has NOTHING ELSE in his entire life to talk about as he spent his time chasing rich women and living off their largess sort of like a LAP DOG. I have been trying to turn this board back onto what Kerry has NON ACCOMPLISHED in his life, but everyone seems to have a fixation on Vietnam. But, if you are going to pick wartime experience at least pick someone who has a real record and not some fake like Kerry. Unlike President Bush, who is always the gentlemen, I have no problem with saying that if KERRY did the things he is accused of (faking scenes, reenacting with his 8mm camera, etc etc. he would have been LAUGHED out of my unit. jdn
