Sharon has already made proposals that land taken in the West Bank will/should be compensated by land given from the Negev -- a quid pro quo. And for this, the US has to make war in Afghanistan and Iraq and possibly also Iran, Syria and wherever else just so that Muslims everywhere are forced to accept what Israel wants to do. I don't believe it -- it doesn't make sense to hit a carpet tack with a sledge-hammer.
