The vietnam war issue was what i was getting at when i used the word settled. There was a quid pro quo in place since mccain, kerry and others buried the hatchet. Actually mccain and kerry buried the hatchet because they were on opposite sides and mccain felt that kerry had betrayed them. But once the deal was struck vietnam was largely removed as an issue. Now like poltergeist "its baaack". I blame mccaulliffe and kerry for this more than i blame the swiftboaters. Mike
