A relative spent most of his Marine Corps career prosecuting Viet Nam fragging cases. That's the effluent of the Jane Fonda (and those who appeared in photographs with her) mindset prevalent at the time.

nothing about war is civilized.

Here's Ann's hero Bush....

That box was a comfy failsafe that is no longer available to young people seduced into signing up as weekend warriors in Bush's National Guard."
