I don't think Medicare pays, if you live in a foreign country. As for SS benefits, I think Kumar he is a young guy. He probably paid more into Social Security than he will ever see as benefits in his lifetime.

Ha,

Medicare is the name of the Australian national public health system. They use the same name as our senior health plan.

He is not mooching any US benefits.

That, in most cases, means he has very little in the way of income acquired legally. Therefore, he probably pays no US taxes, at all, but is still milking the system for all he can get.

May I suggest that my financial affairs are my business & nobody elses, apart from the US IRS & Australian Tax Office ?
