Thanks. Now I can go see The Manchurian Candidate with a clear conscience. It will be interesting to compare the remake with the novel, which was chilling.

She of course did not get to finish her sentence because Denzel pounced on her verbally by responding "YOU PEOPLE! YOU PEOPLE! Just what do you mean you people! Do you mean "You People" as in me as a Christian, or do you mean "You People" as in me as a REPUBLICAN? The delicious irony is that "YOU PEOPLE" is first and foremost the code words for 'people of color' especially when said to any black person and it's absolutely UN-PC to ever do so. And of course everybody knew it, esp. Denzel. Go Denzel!
