Kerry faked his right arm being blown off by the German MG-42, also known as Hitler's Buzz Saw. A German had one of those firing out of window that hit a comrade that Dole went save at risk to his own life. Dole was hit also and is lucky he didn't get killed. The MG-42 machine gun puts out over 1200 rounds per minute of 8x57mm mauser ammo.
