After Bush proposed that, I remember the Kerry campaign coming out with some nasty ads. You can't play nice guy all the time. Plus, there are a lot of negatives to John Kerry.

But the swift boat ads are not Bush's anyway. And I do not know what special knowledge you have that these ads were untrue. The book provides a lot of evidence. It still could be false, but I don't think you are in any position to know that.
