The swifties are a bunch of guys still fighting the Vietnam war. They are so bitter about Kerry's anti-war activity that it colors all their perceptions. The Republicans, with their usual vigor, searched everywhere to pin something on Kerry. The only thing they could find is the swifties, so they threw $millions at them. Don't you think it's at least a little ironic that Bush/Cheney the ultimate chickenhawk queens are busting Kerry for volunteering for Vietnam combat? John
