LOL. Bush wants to stop ALL the 527 ads, equally. You left out half of the story.

Bush knows that there is no way for the parties to put an effective end to the 527 ads. If they could do that, it would be an indication that the 527s were not independent of the parties. So, he can call for an end to the ads, knowing full well that the Dems would never attempt to muzzle Soros, et al.

Shrewd tactic for Bush, IMO.

Kerry came out right away and condemned those ads.

Bush has finally come out against the ads by the SBVFB...bout time.
