As long as the theocracy does not support terrorists & has been freely elected by the Iraqi people, why would there be a problem? The Kurds will have to negotiate their independence with the Iraqi gov--not the U.S. <<<What happens Ann, if after things settle down and a TRUE democracy is established in Iraq, the Iraqi people DECIDE they want a theocracy and don't want the US to have any say in anything. Will YOU cheer them on. What if the Kurds say the US has reneged on promises and decide that they want INDEPENDENCE? Will YOU cheer them on?>>>
