I apologize for not reconizing O'neill's bronze medals. That does not excuse him for lying about Kerry's Silver Star - especially because he wasn't there and neither were the other Swifties.

I still insist Dole should apologize. Kerry called him and told him he was disappointed. Dole responded that he didn't mean to offend him. What a stupid reply!

I'm posting this because I noticed that one of the diehard
Kerry supporters was suggesting that Dole's major injury resulted from a self inflicted wound.

Some people will just say anything.

Until today, I hadn't read a description of how
Dole actually lost the use of his arm. He was only
21 years old.

Kerry's much touted band-aid wounds don't
merit discussion in the same breath as what
happened to Dole.

I'm sure there are many wounded Iraq and Afghanistan vets
who feel the same way about their own injuries relative
to Kerry's. I suppose they lack the right to hold
such opinions in the eyes of the left, too.
