kerry's four months in Vietnam is more important than his 20 years in the senate.

What does that tell us?

Kerry did a pretty good job of doing that himself back in the 70s.

Great point. Is he, or isn't he?

As for "war hero" there is some question of whether or not Kerry is one, but there is no question that he has spent a lot of time and effort trying to present himself as one.

It is beginning to look as though Kerry has opened a can of worms he'd been better off without. The people I knew who went to Vietnam did their tours and came home, but I know of NONE who were home in four months.

While Bush is clearly doing the right thing in avoiding criticizing Kerry's service, it really does look as though Kerry made every effort to get those three purple hearts and get the hell out of Vietnam ASAP.

I have no problem with his having done it. Hell, everyone I knew who went wanted to come back alive, and ASAP. But to try to become president based on this four months of service to the exclusion of his Senate record seems absurd.

When did this country start putting its war heroes down?
Kerry did a pretty good job of doing that himself back in the 70s.

Apparently, you have trouble reading or you are simply reading the misinformation of the right........he didn't put down war heroes but rather the idiots who started the war in the first place.

As for "war hero" there is some question of whether or not Kerry is one, but there is no question that he has spent a lot of time and effort trying to present himself as one.

There is no question in my mind and the minds of millions of other Americans. If you have a problem with it, you might discuss it among yourselves.
