Kerry campaign is now admitting that one of Kerry's Purple Hearts may have come from an unintentional self-inflicted wound. Must be the bronze star one. The rice wound. He admits it in his book. Can't get around it. "Slowly we turn and bit by bit!"

Re the Bush meeting today while on "vacation"...did anyone else but me notice who was with him, and wonder what "else" might be going on....President Bush commented there were 'secure communications' with others as well, but considering that all of the folks who were there could have been seen and heard from 'secure communications' as well...it appears to me as if situations of real import or concern were on the agenda....Condi Rice, Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, and General Myers, as well as President Bush met the cameras. The reporters wanted to question him on the Swiftboat ads, and none of them seemed to notice the "real lineup"....
