this would be a good series to read and you might get more of an idea where loppy is coming from... Dominick Dunn'es Power Privilege and Justice. some of it is about people like loppy who marry into the money.... Christopher Moseley, a military retiree of 25 years married Lisa Dupont who was one of heirs to the dupont fortune..... he had a step-son's girlfriend killed so she couldn't get any of the Dupont money. He paid some 10 or 15k to do it. He is not serving 14 years in prison. He shielded Lisa and she is waiting for him to get out. She is ugly as a home made bar of soap... ugly to the bone..... she could be loppy's twin sister, that is how bad she is.... but her money kept her out of jail and kept Moseley's mouth shut.
