Every situation had a preferred method. The grenade is stupid as all that did was mix & move it. If he actually had the balls to move more than 15' from his 50, unlikely, the best method available to him to make the food unfit would be to allow it to soak in diesel fuel. If he had even a tiny bit of balls he would have lit it on fire. So, no balls and no brains-- no change in 30+ years.
