Guilt by association

I think that Paul Krugman was a paid advisor to Enron and Lay.

By association then, Krugman advises Enron and Lay. Lay contributes to the RNC and the Swift Boat Vets.

Therefore Krugman is behind the Swift Boat ads since he was a paid advisor to Lay who followed his advice and contributed to the Swift Boat Vets and the RNC.
