i wonder how many rebels locked up there are Iraq.

The nice thing about the Al Qaeda types is that they want to die for Allah and we are happy to oblige them. The same thing seems to be happening to them in Iraq that happened in Afghanistan. They are killed, or "fall down the stairs" when held prisoner by the Iraqis. The locals either get killed or go back to their previous non-occupations.

I am sure that Sadr made plans to be in Iran if needed. There, he can badmouth us and the Iraqi Government, and stir up trouble.

If Bush gets re-elected, I hope our "exit strategy" is by way of Iran. :>)
